Is there something like the Better Business Bureau for looking up businesses in China?

For example say i wasn't a citizen or even a resident of China but was just going there on vacation, would it be possible to set up a business and then go back to the US?

How do corporations operate in China if they don't speak the language and they don't know the laws?

We are a health care company operating in China, some documents are illegal, but the quality of the products is alright, and safe. how to promote the business?  It's hard for a small companyto start a business in here, especially for someone without relations or family background.  We have sufficient money, but no additional channels.

I want to do business in china ,If I find company or industry,how do I get full information about the company or industry.To know if it is active registered company or industry and how legitimate it is.
