They may work well if you find that placebo’s help you, otherwise it’s a waste of time and money.

I almost died using Chinese herbs. I’m diabetic and went to a very reputable Chinese dr. for alternative treatment and acupuncture. His wife was a Chinese pharmacist and they had a really cool drug store. It looked a lot like a regular drugstore except instead of bottles of pills on the shelves, there were big bottles of herbs. Any how, they made me a “prescription” of special herbs for my diabetes. Two weeks later I was in the hospital with some kind of poisoning. Apparently, my body didn’t like some of the herbs. I’ll never, ever do any alternative medicines again.

chinese medicine is a kind of system which means you can’t use it just in the same way for the different situation
so my suggestion is:to see doctor who has chinese medition knowledge(i guess there are many there in your country,because everyyear they study that in china)

Chinese medicine is good! And I am not saying that just coz I am Chinese! It helps me alot!
