How do you know what your chinese astrology sign is?

I was looking at my horoscope for today and then it asked me if I wanted to know my chinese astrology or something like that and I went ahead and checked it. It then asked me for my sign and I don't know what it is. I am a pisces but they have animals like a dog or horse. Help.

You need to know the exact date you were born. Chinese zodiac animals are years. I am from the year of the rooster.

Go to a Chinese restaurant and they will tell you it is now the year of the dog
