In Chinese astrology people born in 7th January 1983 is Dog or Pig?

In some Chinese astrology calenders (in internet and in print) people born in 7th January 1983 are considered to have the Dog symbol and some Chinese astrology calenders people born in 7th January 1983 are considered to have the Pig symbol. Which one is originally correct?

    People born on 7th January 1983 are Dogs according to the chinese zodiac. I’m taiwanese and my parents are pretty knowing abt these things.

    It is only 13th Feb 1983 onwards are you then considered a Pig!
