Is it bad luck to get a tattoo of your Chinese astrology symbol?

I'd like to get a tattoo of a dragon on my ankle, but a Chinese friend told me that it is bad luck to get a tattoo of your own Chinese astrological symbol.

    If a thought like that is somewhat hindering you from getting that design, then choose something else….there are tons of tattoo images to choose from…a design that you will have peace of mind and no worries…

    I hear it’s bad luck to get a tattoo of a Chinese symbol if you aren’t Chinese.
    most of the time, these people end up with an overdone/trendy tattoo

    and oddly enough, that’s almost always right

    It is not bad luck if you tattoo a dragon on your ankle.
    Its good for you cause your astrological symbol is dragon.
    Actually Its mostly about the dragon not the symbol.
    If someone want to get a big dragon on back he should think about it .
