What is the fastest growing industry or business in China today?

Since China is evidently a very fast growing economy, what industry or business from China contributes to this emerging superpower?

In my opinion, you cant possibly find that out. There are many different economies in china. From modern industrial might to almost slave labor. In fact, I think people can still be considered slaves there in some situations. china is an ancient culture and they have a different way of doing things than the west, not necesarily bad by their standards, but alien to us. Just realize the potential of the workforce in china and the fact that the wages are still very low. They can out produce almost anybody, and they can do it cheaper, if they want to. The export of goods is probably the most important, if not the fastest growing. The emerging middle class of china will probably dictate what the fastest industry is, pay attention to that.

You have to look at the infrastructure, that is where the focus is. You have a billion people industrializing. That includes everything from the ground up and all of the accessories. So when looking there think of things like energy, building material, phone and Internet, medical, housing. Those are the markets that will pop first and the biggest moves.
